2020 USDrift Shoot-Out!
Marking the third year since its inception, the 2020 USDrift Shoot-out will continue the trend of heading further North and be returning with a later date than the previous two Shoot-out events. This year’s event will take place Friday, September 4th and Saturday, September 5th on the Washington Circuit at Summit Point Motorsports Park in Summit Point, WV.
New Partnership and Driver Support Program with OG-Racing
We’re pleased to announce our partnership with OG-Racing for the 2020 season with their Driver Support Program for all USDrift participants.
2020 has brought about a lot of changes to safety requirements from basic drift day events all the way up to Formula DRIFT PRO/AM series events. Whatever type of drift events you participate in, OG-Racing can help keep you safe and has agreed to help out USDrift participants this season with their incredible Driver Support Program.

Everyone likes FREE right? Well if you have a set of Stage Wheels you can sign up for our next event at Virginia Motorsports Park just outside of Richmond, VA on Saturday, February 29th, drive all day (on your Stage Wheels ), and then get your entry fee refunded after the event. It’s that easy. If you don’t have Stage Wheels, there’s still plenty of time to order some and have them hand deliver them to you at the event. Don't forget we have a Driver Support Program in place with them as well.
2020 Season Schedule Announced
Earn a Formula DRIFT PRO2 License & Konig Wheel Sponsorship
As car enthusiasts, König loves when they have the opportunity to help drivers and race programs, especially those developing from a grassroots level. They understand the amount of commitment, time, effort, and money it takes. König also recognizes that these motorsport enthusiasts help to further our sport as they aspire and ascend into that next level of competition.
Currently, USDRIFT is associated with 4 drift licensing Shootout events in conjunction with VEGASDRIFT, MIDWEST DRIFT UNION, and SONOMA Drift. These competition events provide the opportunity for a drifter to earn a Formula DRIFT PRO2 license by placing in the top 3 spots in a single event!
König recently approached USDRIFT about an idea to sweeten the prize for the winner of each one of these Formula DRIFT PRO2 licensing Shootouts. So to the winner of each of these events, König will award them a wheel sponsorship for the 2020 Formula DRIFT PRO2 season!
The Events:
June 21-23, 2019 – USDRIFT Shootout – USDRIFT
August 17-18, 2019 – Summer Jam Pro 2 Shootout – Sonoma Drift
August 23-24, 2019 – Vegas Drift Shootout – Vegas Drift
September 6-7th, 2019 – Midwest Drift Union Shootout – MDU Drift

Return of the Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em
What better date than 4/20 to kick off the return of our Smoke ‘Em If You Got ‘Em events? Plus, they’re returning to the place they started out at, Virginia Motorsports Park.
Open track day event for beginner to advanced drivers on one of the largest parking lots in central Virginia.

Participants must be 18 years old (16-17 with parent or legal guardian present) and possess a valid state/government issued picture ID or driver's license. As usual, drivers will be broken up into 3 groups (Novice, Intermediate, or Advanced) based on experience. Cageless tandem is ok for Advanced drivers at this event.
Ridealongs will be available and we will have a limited number of loaner helmets onsite.
Track layout will be posted shortly.
DRIVERS: $99.99/advance, $114.99/regular, or $129.99/gate
SPECTATORS: $7/advance or $10/gate

2019 USDrift PRO/AM Rulebook
For the 2019 season, USDrift will be utilizing the 2019 Formula DRIFT PRO/AM Technical Rules and Regulations (TRR).
For those of you that have previously competed with USDrift, the 2019 rulebook is roughly 95% the same as last season. The biggest change for this year will be the addition of a tire width rule.
