We’re ecstatic to announce the creation of the USDrift Street Sim Series presented by ESDA for the 2021 season. E-Sports Drift Association (ESDA) is one of the premiere virtual drifting leagues in operation today, having spent several years previously hosting events on Forza Motorsport 7. For 2021, events will be hosted on Assetto Corsa, using custom tracks and cars for all the competitors. In addition, broadcasts will be handled by Podium eSports, an industry leader in producing online motorsport simulation events.
ELIGIBILITY:
Participants from around the world are eligible to compete in this series, however, there are some requirements that must be met when registering based on age restrictions. Participants under the age of eighteen (18) will need a parent/guardian to complete the registration consent form.
REGISTRATION:
The registration fee for the entire season will be $10 + procesing fees to help cover the cost of producing and broadcasting the events. Registration is limited and first come, first serve. Registration will open up at 3PM EST on Sunday, May 30th, 2021. Participants can register here.
FORMAT:
Since this series is expected to reach a full field of 200 participants, to save everyone’s time we will have drivers do two runs on the server and we will save the replay. Qualifying will take place on Thursday and Friday prior to the event, with time slots throughout the day. This will be the same system that is currently in place for the “pro” series, and has been proven to work very well. The Top 32 tandem single elimination competition will take place on Sunday and be broadcast live.
SCHEDULE:
The series will consist of 4 rounds throughout the year. The schedule is currently tentative and will be updated once everything is finalized.
June 13 - Englishtown Raceway Park / Road Course
August 22 - Kil-Kare Raceway / Oval
October 17 - Englishtown Raceway Park / Stadium
